We've always centered our celebrations of family around food, and this year is no different as we send Nico out into the world. We start a new life together, the house feels a little empty. But the knowledge of the strength of our family and the wonderful start they had here helps. Alex, Galen, Nico each took with them a bit of each of us, of family and of the place. Love to Carol. The void that Nico leaves here at the Gnu CIrcus is balanced by the great presence he brings to Youth Radio out in that big wide world beyond our sometime insular Berkeley perspective. Our loss is the world's gain and we are all so proud of "the fine young man" your son has grown up to be.
